Question : which technology

I am undecided about what web based technology to use for an interactive math based website with math questions to answer via buttons.

I can do it in Silverlight and asp.net with connection to a DB.

My concern is performance as asp.net is a lot quicker than silverlight and more accessible, but silverlight  has animation features which might be of use.


I dont want php/mysql as I prefer asp.net unless therre is a goo dreason.

Answer : which technology

Make the main application using asp.net to play it safe.
Then make another with silverlight available for users who
would be interested in.
