Question : Rate my system

I inherited this gaming machine.  Huge aluminium tower Cooler Master.  
Motherboard: MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum
CPU: AMD Athlon 64; ADA3000DIK4BI
RAM 4GB
Video: Nvidia Geforce 6800 254GB
HD SATA 70GB 10K RPM; 2nd HD Seagate IDE 400GB 7500 RPM
DVD-ROM dual layer R-RW

What do you think about this system?  Too outdated?  I am not a big gamer though.  Should I keep using for something else.
Also, should I try Windows 7 pro or XP?  Originally it was XP installed there.

Answer : Rate my system

Make the main application using asp.net to play it safe.
Then make another with silverlight available for users who
would be interested in.
