Question : After some time, we occasionally get a " Z: is not accessible.   Access is denied." on network drives

Hi All,

We have a Windows XP File share setup and occasionally we have problems reaching the XP Pro machine that houses our data.  The machine is awake and accessibe when this happens, however we get a

"Z is not accessible.
    Access is denied."

Where Z: is the mapped network drive on the various workstations going back to the XP Pro machine that hosts the files.  A reboot of the XP Pro file server takes care of this

Any ideas why?

Thanks!

Sounds reasonable as long as they only get the accessed denied when logging on.

I think you have it.
