Question : Mac 10.5.8 USB Printer - RastaToBrother2030 Failed

Hi Everyone,

I have a Brother 2030 connected to my Mac OSX 10.5.8 via USB and get the following error:

/Library/Printers/Brother/Filter/rastertobrother2030 failed

I see this error when I login to the CUPS web page. I have tried resintalling this printer and using the latest driver from the Brother website. If I plug the printer into a PC it works fine so no problems with the printer.

This Mac has been upgarded toi Leapord as well, not sure if this is relevant.

Any ideas?

Try running this update

http://support.apple.com/downloads/Brother_Printer_Driver_1_1 or run software update it should install the updates automatically.
