Question : Windows Updates failing on SBS 2008 - WSUS installed on machine

Hello,

I have a small office running SBS 2008 and that server runs WSUS.  The client pcs are updating just fine, but my problem lies in the server updating itself.

I ran the WSUS client tool and I get this:
===================================
WSUS Client Diagnostics Tool

Checking Machine State
        Checking for admin rights to run tool . . . . . . . . . FAIL

CheckUserLevel() failed with hr=0x80070005

Access is denied.
===================================

DNS is set correctly, I am logged in with administrative rights, I can update by clicking the "check from microsoft update" but I can not update in house.  WSUS is fully updated to latest service packs, and the server is also updated to the latest from manually checking microsoft update.

On server update screen I see error "Code 80072EE6" when checking for updates.

Also not sure if this is related but I am getting a ton of sharpoint services errors, with event ID 2424 and 2436.  If not related lets focus on the windows update issue.

Thanks for the help

Not sure if this is related
