Question : DameWare vs. RDP

Nothing is broken, I just have a question regarding to forms to remote administration.

What's the difference between DameWare's remote administration tool and RDP? They obviously do the same thing, but in two different approaches...

Anyone care to help and elaborate?

Answer : DameWare vs. RDP

Not shure on the DameWare - LogMeIn uses https with SSL encryption. You can setup RDP for secure authentication (default is not encrypted) which at least stops external hackers from grabbing your login passwords and names that are sent in unencrypted text but still leaves the opening for brute force hacking attempts.
