Question : Default alias in Exchange 2010
Hi.
Can default alias on mailboxes in Exchange 2010 be configured so that alias is based on the username in AD? This when I create a new mailbox or (even more important) when creating several new mailboxes.
Exchange 2003 chooses the username in AD during these processes while Exchange 2010 chooses FirstnameLastname... That's stupid...
Answer : Default alias in Exchange 2010
no when creating bulk users you will have to use the shell and csv files in order to customize the alias, if you create it using the EMC it will remain the default.
if you want to bulk change it on the current users you can use admodify
