Question : How to stop Sysinternals Virus browser redirect?

I helped a friend rid their computer of the annoying Sysinternals Virus, using Malwarebytes and Microsoft Security Essentials (McAfee was useless).  The virus and it's popups seems to go away, but there is still the browser redirect issue.  Any solutions for that?

Try running IE without add-ons. Click Start then Run and enter this line.
iexplore -extoff
Navigate to google.com and test for being redirected. If not just go to tools\Manage Addons. It shouldn't be hard to find the culprit and disable it.
