Question : 2203 error when installing office 2007 on vista

This is the error as reported in the event log:
 Microsoft Office Shared Setup Metadata MUI (English) 2007 -- Error 2203. An internal error has occurred.  (C:\Windows\Installer\3e110.ipi   -2147287035               ) Contact Microsoft Product Support Services (PSS) for assistance.  For information about how to contact PSS, see C:\Users\christ~1\AppData\Local\Temp\Setup000013a0\PSS10R.CHM.

Every time I try to install Office 2003 or Office 2007 I get this problem.  It just starts the install then fails....here's what I've tried:

I have run uninstaller.exe for office2007.  I have done every thing in kb928218

I have checked permissions in all possible places.  system, administrator, christine all have full control.  

environment variables  are correct for temp and tmp  %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Temp

But I still can't install office 2007 on my vista computer

The error occurs because you need to add the Everyone group with full permissions to the default Temporary folder.  Read this:
