Question : Wanted: A web cam. Budget? Limited.

Hi.

I want a web cam to use with Skype. Not top of the range, all singing all dancing. The laptop is an old HPCompaq NC6000. Will soon be upgraded to 2GB RAM. Processor is (according to http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/11794_na/11794_na.html) Intel 855PM chipset with 400MHz processor side bus

So, not the worlds fastest thing.

So I need a web cam with microphone that's suitable.

Resolution ... I would say 1024x768 is probably the max. FPS 30-ish would be nice.

And if I can get it from http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/r/webcam/7098_0_0/?u=0_30 then I'd be happy.

I'm just being lazy and looking for recommendations.

I need to buy it in Saturday (tomorrow). All a bit of a rush.

You're not going to get 1024x768 @ 30fps without spending some money.  

There's not much difference at the low end anyway.  Just run out to Target or WalMart and get whatever's on sale.
