Question : MS Word Page Numbering - Duplicate number for different signature pages
I have some documents that are about 12 pages. They need approval but we don't know who will approve them once they move up the chain. So, we need to prepare two signature pages.
This means that a document of 12 pages is really 11 pages, because one of the signature pages will get used and one thrown away. It also means that page 11 of 11 has to show on two pages. the signature pages might also be 9 of 11 rather than 11 of 11.
How can I manipulate the number for [pages} and {numpages} in the header so that I get the duplicates I need, plus continuity of page number for the rest of the document?
Answer : MS Word Page Numbering - Duplicate number for different signature pages
Sorry the last field should, of course, be:
{ = {page} - 1}
