Question : IE8 cannot read Chinese
The IE8 on a client's XP laptop cannot read Chinese.(Nothing but blank squares are showing). When going in Control Panel and trying install east asian languages, we saw pop up message for XP Service Pack 3 CD which we don't have. (So right now my client is using FF temporarily.) Where can we download and install both simplified and traditional Chinese fonts for the said IE8? Thanks a lot for your help.
Answer : IE8 cannot read Chinese
You need the windows cd. You can try with another version, SP2 or so since you only need the i386 folder but because IE is linked to windows you are going to need a windows CD.
