Question : Group policy updates causes screen to flicker

Hello,

For a long time now users screen flicker a random intervals throughtoit the day.  I tested the cause and found that when running gpupdate /force the screen flickers for several seconds this is across all hp desktops.  The flickering lasts for upto five seconds in flashes of White every time a gp refresh is done or I manually run gpupdate.  I have played around with changing the wallpaper etc but no luck has anyone else experienced this before or found a solution?

I would run gpresult to see what GPOs are being applied then create an OU place a test PC in there then start disabling the GPOs one by one to see which is causing the problem.
