Question : Folders from Windows Updates are created in USB Discs
I do not know if anyone has noticed this but I have seen it happening recently in multiple computers, mostly XP and Vista.
Where USB Discs are permanently connected, folder with content clearly coming from Windows Updates are created and can't be deleted as some files are in use.
I wonder if there is a way to avoid this from happening and to keep windows to use its TEMP folder or something but not external discs.

ok try to remote login from another machine and check whether that setting is applied or not.
