Question : Automate certain windows tasks

Hello Guys,

I have a program called (vTex) where we open a .tex file and then select export option to be "postscript" and press a button to action. This then exports a ".ps" file into a folder.

That .ps file needs to be opened in Adobe distiller to convert to a pdf. (this is currently done by just double clicking the .ps file which opens in distiller automatically and converts to pdf.)

I am wondering if this process can be automated but some script/program.
