Question : droid not syncing when outlook is closed

One particular client of mine has about 4 or 5 droids.

As of recently, they claim that if they close Outlook they are unable to receive email to their phones.

I don't believe them. Haha. They are configured wirelessly, via the domain name, not with any sort of software on the desktops.

What could cause this? Is this even possible? They were working perfectly fine for months, and now they claim they are not.


Got any ideas?

Answer : droid not syncing when outlook is closed

Please add the following registry key to your Exchange Server:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\VirusScan
ProactiveScanning      REG_DWORD      1

You will haveto reboot the server afterwards to make the setting stick.

If that does not sort it out, please let me know what Anti-Virus software you are using on the server.
