Question : Issues change workstation IP

Hi,

I have network which is part of national network. I have an gateway whit this ip: 10.0.65.1 and I can add computers in to network using this sentings (10.0.65.xxx/255.255.255.0/10.0.65.1) and use DNS ip - DNS_IP_1 and DNS_IP_2

What I do. I put  a 2003 server whit  DC/DNS/DHCP. I have two network card which i set one with a subnetwork info (10.0.65.200/255.255.255.0/10.0.65.1) and one with intern ip (192.0.168.0.1/255.255.255.0/) All my computers have in that time intern IP and use the 2003 server DNS.

Now I change all computes to 10.0.65.xxx - this is demand, computer need to by manage from main office - and use the 10.0.65.1 gateway for DNS i use DNS_IP_1 and DNS_IP_2 ips - i do this whit my hand for each computers :(. The network work now but if I want to add a new computer (10.0.65.yyy) to domain I get this error "An attempt to resolve the DNS name of a DC in the domain being joined has failed. Please verify this client is configured to reach a DNS server that can resolve DNS names is the target domain." I belive the issues is generate by DNS.

Question:

1) Is a way to remove DNS from DC? whit no change on Active Directory (user, computers, rights) and how to doit?

2) Is a way to change DNS to use DNS_IP_1 and DNS_IP_2 and remove internal ip and use only this format ip: 10.0.65.xxx in my network?. I think here also I have to change DHCP.

Whish is the best method to doit?

Thanks
Petre

Answer : Issues change workstation IP

Hi,
No it is not possible. The reason being that pivottables are only representing a "layout view" of data existing somewhere else. It can be based on a range in the workbook, another workbook, a database and so on.

So in short; no it is not possible. You need to figure out where the underlying data are placed and then change the data there if feasible.
