Question : How to configure Active Sync in Exchange 2003 and iPhone 3GS

Hello Experts
I am having problems to Sync our IPhones 3GS with our Exchange Server. We have implemented Exchange frech in our Organisation. As i am fairly new to Exchange I am having trouble to figure out how to configure Active Sync on the Server for Syncing with iPhones. Can sombody point me to the right articles in the Database or give me some advice ? I am fairly shure that i am missing something in the Exchange Server but i can not figure out what.
When i try to configure the acount on iPhone it tells me that the account could not be verified: Connection to Server failed.
I be grateful for any advice how to proceed.
