Question : Exchange 2007 Incremental backup

Hi,

I have a user that has lost the entire contents of his inbox.

I did a full backup a few weeks ago using ntbackup and have been doing incremental backups of the first storage group since. These backups are saved on a remote server and I am transferring them back to the exchange server now.

When I look at the BKFs under Restore and Manage Media, on the incremental file I only see a tick box for logs and nothing else.

Does this mean that it has only backed up the logs? I hope this isn't the case.

Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Answer : Exchange 2007 Incremental backup

yes it only backed up the log files, there is nothing to worry about exchange incremental backup = logfiles only.

restore your last full and all the incremental and mount them all to a recovery storage group
