Question : Recover auto save doc.

I closed a file without saving.  I have an online backup tool that looks at my autosave location and I was able to restore the *.asd file to the default location.  However, now that I know the location and have verified the data is still there (opened in note pad), how do I get word to recognize the file.  If I try to open with Word, it says unrecognized file type.  It is stupid that word can't recognize it's own recovery file, but I am guessing that I need to tell word to open the recovery tool.  How do I do this?

The #554 5.7.1 error usually indicates either a virus found or a spam or content filter rejection. "TEST" in subject is one content filter that causes rejection.

The #550-Bad hostname indicates the server may not be properly registered.  Check your DNS records to be sure the server host name (FQDN) and IP address is correct.
