Question : Convert Vmware guest, increase processors ok?
Using the VMWare Converter, I'm converting a Windows 2003 Server running on VMWare Workstation to an ESXi host.
Can I increase the # of processors from 1 to 2 at the time of the conversion or will this cause a problem?
Thanks.
Answer : Convert Vmware guest, increase processors ok?
No..no changes needed; the only issues that could happen using the vCenter Converter, is when choosing to install VMware Tools upon completion and the other 2 options at the end there. Modifying disk size, RAM, & processors is ok. :)
