Question : USB Device Not Recognized?

I am getting the message USB Device Device Not Recognized - One of the USB devices attached to the computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. Message occurs over and over.

The only devices using USB is the mouse and keyboard - they both seem to be working.

Any ideas on what causes this and is there a solution?

Any assistance is very much appreciated.
