Question : What is the best navigation software for a Macbook Pro and an iPhone?
I am interested in boating and would like to purchase navigation software that allows me to navigate around the San Francisco Bay or places nearby that I may be interested in visiting. I am looking for something that allows me to view bodies of water vs. land, distances between locations, water depths (if possible), landmarks (if possible) and really has any other features that may assist me during my travels.
Currently I use traditional charts and they take up a good deal of space. I would like to increase efficiency and my ability to plan without the necessity of a large table or flat area. I have seen a few programs and apps out there, but would really like some recommendations before I jump into anything.
I have a MacBook Pro that I purchased lat year (2009) and am about to purchase the new iPhone with GPS.
Please let me know if you have any ideas! Feedback/review of something you have used would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Since it looks like no one has posted info for you, here is a link to an application for OS X. While I have not used it, they do ofer a trial and they have feedback fron customers.
