Question : Determine standard default font in a form object in excel forms collection

Hi I am replacing all my old excel forms objects (in excel forms collection ) with activex objects.

How do I determine the standard default font & font size which would have been used by the original form object as activex default font is different so I need to work out what that will have been set to.

Also
How do I change the default activex font & size.
I know I can set it after but I would like to change the font default.....

So my work around is the solution :-(
I have found *some* font properties eg bold are determined from cell underneath the activxobj when it's created :-/
I am getting arial & size 9.5
Can't work out where 9.5 is derived though
