Question : "outlook.ost cannot be accessed because it has been configured for usw with a different mailbox"
I had to reinstall SBS 2003 to a really badly corrupted server and I am currently removing and rejoining the PCs to the server.
Everything is fine apart from Outlook 2003 which they have always insisted be set up as POP3 accounts with outbound and inbound mail going via a POP3 connection on Outlook from the PCs.
When the server failed the majority of PST folders became totally inaccessible as the PCs weren't logged on at the time.
Now with these ones when I try to copy over the PST folders I get the msg "outlook.ost cannot be accessed because it has been configured for usw with a different mailbox."
Is their a workaround for this.
Thanks,
Mike

Rename the outlook.ost and see.
It should fix the issue.
