Question : Group Policy - Only allow intranet web access to production desktops

I want to create a group policy that only allows our production desktops (XP Pro SP2) to access intranet websites via Internet Explorer (v6). Our company is based on a private 10.*.*.* address space. These machines do not need any form of external web access.

Answer : Group Policy - Only allow intranet web access to production desktops

You could set the proxy server address for IE to a non-existent address, and specify "Do no use proxy server local (intranet) addresses", or specify your private address range in the Proxy Exceptions. This would cause any other non-internal addresses to not resolve the proxy server and fail.

There may be a better way though...?!
