Question : Issues with SCCM CCMSetup client

Hello,

I have configured SCCM on a lab environment. Created a VM for a Domain server running 2008 R2 server, extended the AD schema, configured the agents, made sure all the components are running.

As for the components, I have warnings on the following:
- SMS_INVENTORY_DATA_LOADER
- SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER
- SMS_WSUS_CONFIGURATION_MANAGER
- SMS_MP_CONTROL_MANAGER
- SMS_SERVER_LOCATOR_POINT
- SMS_STATE_MIGRATION_POINT
- SMS_WSUS_CONTROL_MANAGER
- SMS_MP_DEVICE_MANAGER

On the client machine, also a VM I have installed Windows XP Pro. Also joined my domain wich is named lpalab.int successfully from that machine.  Both the server and the machine are on the same domain.

When running the CCMSETUP.EXE from the client machine I do:
CCMSETUP.EXE /mp:slc-csche-w2k8r /logon SMSSITECODE=LPA PSP=slc-csche-w2k8r /forecereboot and I have the following on my log:

The problem I have is that I cannot query software from this client nor hardware.

Can anyone point me to a solution to this?

Answer : Issues with SCCM CCMSetup client

Hi Duchenne,

There is an easier way:

Install PDFCreator (freeware) from below link:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/files/PDFCreator/PDFCreator 1.0.1/PDFCreator-1_0_1_setup.exe

while printing each "print the heading and all sub-topics",  select PDFCreator in printers list and print.
you will get a prompt where you can print to a file or "wait-collect" option is there. Choose "wait-collect" option and it puts all prints in its buffer, there you can merge all prints and finally print to a single pdf file.
