Question : Cisco 3570 upgrading IOS. Have deleted image still need more room.

This a stack of two switches. I have deleted the IOS on the Master shown below:
Stack Master sw1.admin#sh flash1:

Directory of flash:/

    2  -rwx         804  Apr 29 2010 09:55:12 -07:00  vlan.dat
    4  -rwx          24  May 19 2010 13:35:59 -07:00  private-config.text
    5  -rwx        1048  May 19 2010 13:35:59 -07:00  multiple-fs
  427  -rwx       17982  May 19 2010 13:35:59 -07:00  config.text

15998976 bytes total (15976448 bytes free)

What happens if I delete the multiple-fs? Do not think deleleting the Vlan.Dat will create enough space?

Switch2:
sw1.admin#sh flash2:

Directory of flash2:/

    2  -rwx          24  May 19 2010 13:35:59 -07:00  private-config.text
    3  -rwx       17982  May 19 2010 13:35:59 -07:00  config.text
    4  -rwx         804  Apr 29 2010 09:55:12 -07:00  vlan.dat
    5  -rwx       17394  Mar 14 1993 14:55:45 -07:00  config.text.backup
    6  drwx         192  Feb 28 1993 22:06:53 -07:00  c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE3
    7  -rwx           5  Mar 14 1993 14:55:45 -07:00  private-config.text.backup
    8  -rwx        1048  Mar 14 1993 14:55:45 -07:00  multiple-fs

No Squeeze command on 3750.
This is the core switch do not want to have to rebuild.
Any ideas

Answer : Cisco 3570 upgrading IOS. Have deleted image still need more room.

Did you verify you have enough physical memory in the switch for the IOS image you are loading?  I have often found that the latest IOS listed for a particular RAM size does not always fit into the memory specified on the Cisco website.

For instance, I tried to load an IOS for 32/128 on my 3640 and had to go back one minor revision as it was about 1000k smaller.
