Question : Exchange 2010 Send on Behalf for a Distribution Group

Can any one tell me how to grant permissions to send on behalf of a distribution group?

I've tried setting this:

Set-DistributionGroup -Identity "DLName" -GrantSendOnBehalfTo USERNAME

and also giving send as permission via AD to the user who needs to send on behalf of the Distribution group but i still can't get it to work.
