Question : Additional domain controller

Hi peeps

I asked this question once, but I have an addition to it:

Is it possible to have the server 2003 as the primary DC and the additional DC as server 2008?
We just tried installing a new Server 2008 additional DC and it won't let us. I get a feeling it's because the primary DC (server 2003) needs to be upgraded or something in order for the secondary DC (2008) to be compatible?

Answer : Additional domain controller

Every now and then wiping/formatting with the Windows installer creates this issue. Before replacing the HDD, download and install a utility to completely wipe the HDD and run the Win installer again. I use Darik's Boot and Nuke (dban.org) but there are many utilities out there that perform the same operation.
