Question : existing gift voucher system? - asp.net

I'm developing a website and they want a gift voucher facility on the site
however, its out of scope, so wanted to know if there are any free solutions available out there that will handle this for me?
or some code i can integrate?

they have recommended integrating a shopping cart, which is a lot of work that wont be paid for
