Question : IE8 annoying advertising popups on double underlined links in webpages

How can I turn off the IE8 annoying advertising popups on double underlined links in webpages.

I've included a picture of what I mean... there is a double underlined lind called "torque" in this picture.. when the mouse goes by the double underlined link, ads pop up... it's very annoying when a page has 25 of those underlined words on them so they are popping up all day when trying to read a page.

Is there a setting to turn it off so the words aren't even underlined, or to change the behavior so that they won't pop up, even if they have to remain underlined?

Answer : IE8 annoying advertising popups on double underlined links in webpages

This has nothing to do with IE. Sites have made profit-sharing deals with the company that produces these pop-ups, called Vibrant.

Bing "block vibrant ads" and you'll get a ton of hits.
