Question : VMware FT for Intel Xeon 5650 Chipset on Dell R610

The VMware website shows the Intel Xeon 5650 isn't VMware Fault Tolerant. On the Intel site the Xeon 55xx and the 56xx processors have the same technology except the Xeon 56xx doesn't support VT-d. Could you verify the 5650 will support VMware FT? I'm sure this has to do with the 56xx being such a new chipset.
