Question : Unable to access certain domains
Hi - up until last week I was happily accessing my personal webmail & website from my office computer. Then suddenly I couldn't. I then tried a couple of other machines in the office and they couldn't either. I then brought my home machine into the office and it too was unable to access the webmail & website - but it does from home. To me this seems like a firewall issue blocking a certain IP address - but as I am charge of our firewall config this isn't the case. Could the problem be higher up the food chain at ISP level - if so how might I go about diagnosing where the problem lies? Any suggestions appreciated. Cheers Ed.
Answer : Unable to access certain domains
Go to the command prompt and put in 'tracert' and then the website. So like 'tracert google.com'. And see what it does.
