Question : Brother Printer shows paper jam when there is none.

I have brother printer model mfc-8460n. At power on the display says that there is a "Document Jam". However after much inspection there is no paper jame anywhere to be found. The printer is useless as long as it is recieving this error. Any ideas???

it can be a bent, or broken paper flag - so check where they are located.
if detection is done with leds, check that they operate, and not covered with paper debris !
you find them all along the paper path -  first at feed in
