Question : Website slow to load first time, fine subsequent times

I've a site on my network which is slow to load the first time (15 seconds or so) but then the second, third etc times it is fine.
Is there some setting in IIS that can keep it loaded in memory (not sure if that is even what it is doing)

also when i try to find out what version of iis it is it says Microsoft Management Console 3.0

First off, upgrade Adobe Reader to latest version if you haven't done so already.

Second, close IE 7 and re-open it to clear the plugin from memory. Then, browse to another web site (any will do) which has PDFs and try opening one there and see if it takes just as long.

This will narrow it down to either a plugin issue or an issue with your web site.

Let me know how this works out before we proceed.
