Question : Why cant I use the native mail client on the new HTC Evo to syn with ActiveSync to our OWA site?

Experts!

Yet another bump in the road to completion with our OWA implementation.  I have the site published, and I looked at an article posted by one of the experts, and went through all of it, and made additional setting changes to make sure everything is flowing.  However, this phone will still not sync, its coming back with the following error:

Failed to Create the account, please try again later.

What does that mean?  Can we not use the native mail client?  It has the option for Exchange ActiveSync, and from my past experience with activesync 4.5, all the settings appear to be correct, but when it comes down to processing the initial sync, this is the error I get.  Any ideas?
