Question : VMWare Lab Manager 4.0 and deployed VMs
Hello,
I have Virtual Center 4.0 ( Physical server ) and Lab Manager 4.0 ( VM ) running on ESX 4.0 cluster.
ESX cluster needs be shutdown for hardware maintenance.
vMotion is not an option and both ESX nodes in the cluster must be down at the same time.
My question is VMs in Lab Manager.
Do they need be undeployed or can be just shutdown without losing any data.
Thank you for your help,
Answer : VMWare Lab Manager 4.0 and deployed VMs
No, you don't have to undeploy them, they can be stopped without any problems.
