Question : Exchange activesync from iphone not connecting to Exchange 2003 server via port 443
I need this resolved immediately, so I will award 500 point to the solution. I have a windows server 2003 SP2, also running exchange 2003 SP2 sitting behind a Firebox Edge X50, behind a 10mps DSL. Our exchange server email on our iphones has been working perfectly until we changed from a fractional t-1 line to DSL 10mps 2 days ago for internet. Now all iphones cannot get exchange mail. Outlook web access works fine; I can remote desktop into the server with no problems, and all mail clients such as outlook and apple mail are working correctly.
I think I need port 443 open for exchange active sync, and if I do a port scan inside the network, it shows 443 open, but outside the network my scan list the port as not listening or closed. But I cannot get 443 open to the outside. I have looked all thru the Firebox Edge X50 and the DSL modem is bridged sending directly to the Firebox.
Again all your experts, I need this resolved ASAP! Thanks for your help!
