Question : SBS 2003 Premium. Windows 7 client and Microsoft Shared Fax - Do they work together?
Environment SBS2003 Prem. R2 server, 4 Windows XP clients, 1 Windows 7 Pro client
Server uses Microsoft Shared fax client all XP workstations send faxes via client.
Can the Windows 7 Pro PC also share the same?
I recall reading somewhere that this cannot be done but....
In the absence of information are looking for a solution other than the obvious, which would be to add a modem to the Win7 Pc to send faxes. But then I dont have the same audit trail as I do with the XP clients. That being that ALL sent (and received) faxes are seen in the Server Fax console.
Thanks
Philip
