Question : Remote Desktop Client help

i have serveral pcs setup to use RDC, they are all win 7 (32 and 64 mix)
each one is set to use a different port. i can step into them from the lan side without any
hesitation.  trouble is,  from the wan side,  its a crap shoot, one day it will let me in and next it wont.  if it doesnt, i just step into the server then HOP into that pc and manually  reboot it.
after that i can get in from the wan side..   driving me crazy.
