Question : Screen resolution changed - Fedora 13

Hello,

I'm using Fedora 13. Something went wrong and my screen resolution suddenly changed itself from 1366x768 to 1280x720. I was going to try change it back using xrandr but my old resolution doesn't seem to be available anymore. When I run $ xrandr, the output is:

Screen 0: minimum 640 x 480, current 1280 x 720, maximum 1280 x 720
default connected 1280x720+0+0 0mm x 0mm
   1280x720        0.0*
   800x600        61.0
   640x480        60.0

And as you can see, there's no 1366x768 in there... Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks!

Answer : Screen resolution changed - Fedora 13

You might want to try this as root:

yum -y update
yum install system-config-display
system-config-display

This should allow you to reconfigure your X-server configuration. In the current releases of Fedora the tool seems to have been deprecated, that's why you need to install it manually. Take your time, and make sure all settings are set correctly. Then reboot.
