Question : Db2 installed on Solaris box and not able to connect from db2 control center.

Hi,
I have installed DB2V9.1 on solaris box and created the databases.

When I am trying the add the database using wizard through configuration assistant database was added successfully. But when I try to verify test connection, I am getting following error.

“CLI connection failed.
SQL30081N  A communication error has been detected.  Communication protocol being used: "TCP/IP".  Communication API being used: "SOCKETS".  Location where the error was detected: .  Communication function detecting the error: "connect".  Protocol specific error code(s): "10061", "*", "*".  SQLSTATE=08001 ”

Could anyone of you please help me to connect database from control center. Thank you .

Kent, You are correct.I am using Putty to connect  a terminal session to the unix server.
