Question : How to configure the network printer in the FreeBSD 8?
I have a network printer (no print server), and I have ip address of the printer. now I want to use my freeBSD 8 desktop to print the document via the command prompt. I am not using X11 or any other GUI functionality.
The printer is listening on port number 515 and 631
printer 515/tcp spooler
printer 515/udp spooler
ipp 631/tcp #IPP (Internet Printing Protocol)
ipp 631/udp #IPP (Internet Printing Protocol)
Printer Model: HP LaserJet M4345 MFP Series
Kindly let me know how can I get it done. Thanks!
