Question : AD Scripts and Windows 7

I am running Windows 7 on a Windows 2003 domain. At one time I had a logon script that mapped 4 drives on my network. Our network changed and the drives I once mapped were moved to a different server so I changed the scripts. When I log on now I still get the same "old" drives mapped and not the new drives. I have checked the scripts location(s), two DC's, and verified that both the scripts are correct. I have unmapped the drives then mapped the new ones but when I restart the old drives come back. I do have a logout script that deletes all mapped drives which could account for why the manually mapped drives are gone but can't understand where\how the old drives keep getting mapped. HELP! I know Windows 7 and Windows 2003 domain really don't play well together but can't understand the mapping problem. Is there a way to see what script is running on my machine during login? Or better yet how to I force Windows 7 to use the new scripts? I believe this is a Windows 7 issue since when i logon to Windows XP machines the drives map properly.

Thanks

Answer : AD Scripts and Windows 7

You will not able to see the content of script from RSOP.MSC,it will only show you the setting applied from the GPO.

You can use gpresult to see no of GPO's getting applied.

Install & use GPMC tool on domain controller, its a great tool for GPO management & administration.

Locate the OU where user is kept & see the Group policy applied on that OU.
