Question : PHP and concurrent access to files ?

Hi,

I have a PHP file that I include as a require_once. This file is included whenever there is a request (it's a web app) and sometimes I need to write into it.

How does PHP handle this ? Or do I have to handle this ?

The idea is to have some kind of cache. I want to handle the caching myself.

What antivirus software are you using?  These symptoms are sometimes caused by proactive scanning of the database being disabled.

Refer to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/827615 for general information.  You would need to consult product documentation for specific instructions, depending on your AV product.
