Question : Disable "lan settings" button in Internet Explorer
Is there a gpo or registry entry I can use to disable/grey out the "lan Settings" in IE?
Need to prevent users from changeing their proxy settings when connected to the corporate network but be able to change proxy setting for dial-up connections. I do not want to use a pac file or any othe method.
If I am able to disbale the "lan Setting" button in the connection settings tab it will resolve my problem. Thanks in advance!
Answer : Disable "lan settings" button in Internet Explorer
But the GPO would be all or nothing......
What I am suggesting is a .reg script that will enable the proxy AS needed, and then another to reverse to no proxy.....
