Since I was NOT able to stop the logging , I resorted to reinstalling the bootvis and now I simply stop logging from the Trace- stop tracing....in Bootvis when the computer starts up and thus I now have the same amount of used hard drive space and my problem is solved by my own decision to reinstall bootvis.
