Question : Stolen Laptop Remote Desktop

Hi,

My fathers laptop was stolen this evening, I have logmein remote desktop installed and I noticed its now online, I dont think the laptop has a webcam. Is there any info I could get from this laptop by connecting to it that could help catch whoever stole it?

I figure once I connect, whoever stole it is going to freak and just shut it off. If I do connect I want to make sure its worth my while and get anything important that I can.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, it's not a 100% solution to your problem but maybe will give you enough insight how to get a handle to folders and their documents.
This is a doc from IBM how to recreate your inbox folder when it is crashed.
