Question : SATA hard drive (WD20EARS) not detected by computer (K9N6PGM2)
I recently purchased a 2tb Western Digital harddrive (WD20EARS), and today installed it into my system, which has a MSI motherboard (K9N6PGM2)
Sometimes it is detected as "hard drive" with no definition and 0mb size. Other times not detected at all.
I'm wondering if it's a dud, but I might be missing something here.
Answer : SATA hard drive (WD20EARS) not detected by computer (K9N6PGM2)
ok, well then your only option is to check on another PC or use a SATA to USB cable or external SATA to USB box to check, otherwise go back to the shop where you got it from and say that it's broken get them to test it there.
